This video beautifully depicts the process in which a Burberry scarf is made. The focus on the natural materials and colors, while showing the hand crafted element behind each scarf, brings the product great authenticity. (I love the song too!) From a customer standpoint, knowing it was thoughtfully produced and designed is a great addition to the product value.
Some other companies that I feel do an excellent job in providing the "behind the scenes" production, and product authenticity are Everlane, and Eileen Fisher. Everlane gives radical transparency into what each of their products cost to make and bring to the retail setting (this can be found on each product detail page). They also shed light on each of their factories and tell a beautiful factory story including imagery.
